ROCKY HILL, CT - The O,R&L Commercial team of Jay L. Morris and Robert Gaucher, CCIM, SIOR leased 19 Kensington Lane in Rocky Hill to Dungarvin. 19 Kensington Lane is an approximately 5,800 SF office building that is directly in front of the new Alterra Rocky Hill apartment development on Brook Street. The tenant, Dungarvin, plans to use the building as their Connecticut Headquarters and staff training facility. Jay L. Morris of O,R&L Commercial represented the Landlord, Rocky Hill Properties, LLC and the tenant, Dungarvin Connecticut, LLC was represented by Robert Gaucher, CCIM, SIOR of O,R&L Commercial and Robert Lindahl of Robert Lindahl Realty.
Dungarvin is a national organization of privately owned companies that was founded by Tim and Diane Madden. When the Maddens were in college, they had worked with people with developmental disabilities as volunteers in a summer camp, and as employees in a large ICF/MR facility. Tim and Diane opened the first Dungarvin program, an ICF/MR serving 15 people, in St. Paul, Minnesota, in March 1976. Today, Dungarvin employs approximately 3,000 people who provide services to over 2,200 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in more than 1,100 locations across 13 states.
