Winter Park, Fla. – Anne Millians Roche and Krissie D'Abate represented O,R&L Facility Services as they teamed up with Winning Ways International, a Central Florida-based basketball program, to sponsor the 2nd annual “Rising Stars Basketball Clinic” on August 3-4, 2012 at the Winter Park Community Center.

The event aims to attract a diverse group of students from a variety of backgrounds. The free camp will serve nearly 300 Central Florida residents ages 8-18 — focusing on life skills and teamwork.

Joining Barry Mesel, president and CEO of Winning Ways was ex-Orlando Magic Brandon Hunter who was on hand to demonstrate ball handling skills to the attendees.

“O,R&L Facility Services saw the need for our program in the Central area and called on us to help,” said Mestel. “We are fortunate to partner with them and are confident that our program will have a positive impact on these children."

In 2010, O,R&L Facility Services hosted a free youth basketball clinic with Winning Ways in the Parramore area. “We recognize that today’s young people are tomorrow’s entrepreneurs and business leaders, which is why we invest in programs like the ‘Rising Stars Basketball Clinic,’” said Bob Owens, President/CEO of O,R&L Facility Services.
